The First Volkswagen Transporter with a V8 Sound by QuickSilver Sound Architects™
October 12, 2023
Affectionately codenamed the ‘Dubber Drubber’ at QuickSilver we have devloped our very first system for the ever popular Volkswagen Transporter T6 and T6.1.
The result is a generated and convincing muscular V8 sound, akin to something like an old 1950s Ford pick-up truck, which includes all the wonderful deep and throaty undertones they’re known for.
The system integrates with your own van’s ECU and original diesel exhaust. It interprets and responds exactly to throttle response, gear shifts and rev changes, to provide a soundtrack that’s very authentic and will turn heads wherever you decide to cruz.
The QuickSilver Sound Architect™ also gives you the driver the ability to turn it off at any point to suit your environment. Simply double press the auto 'Stop/Start' button and your van reverts back to its original sound, ideal for those late-night returns back to the campsite.
Our system comes with two QuickSilver branded carbon fibre Tail pipes which ooze style and are the same as found on many of our modern QuickSilver equipped super cars.
If you have a custom rear splitter which may include unique tail pipes then we also supply two down turn tail pipes which affix behind you existing rear valance so remain hidden.
The QuickSilver Sound Architect™ Exhaust system for the VW Transporter offers an audio customisation to match the visual looks of your unique T6 and T6.1.
The Wraith was badly damaged in an accident and Matt's famed for comprehensive fixes with high performance cars on YouTube. This Mansory Wraith was no exception, so QuickSilver supplied him special exhaust system.
Its Big and now has the sound to match the looks. This all blacked out Land Rover Defender 130 Diesel gets equipped with the QuickSilver V8 sound track. Proving a popular upgrade for Defender enthusiasts and we can hear why.
