The QuickSilver Sport System with Sound Architect™ for the OCTA is the ultimate performance and sound upgrade for this top of line Defender with its 4.4L twin turbo V8.

Loud or Quiet - our system uses our revolutionary Sound Architect™ Module, which is controlled by our new standalone key fob. With the valves shut the QuickSilver system provides a civilised note which is unobtrusive and perfect for long journeys and early starts.

Press the 'Sport' button to switch to valves open and the monstrous side comes alive with volume and pitch increased to deliver that V8 sound that enriches the experience.

Furthermore, in OCTA driving mode, all the pops, crackles and bangs are present on the up-change & overrun, a nice touch.

The QuickSilver system is truly plug & play, it requires no intrusion into the car's OE systems and is completely reversible (on resale?).  

Sound Architect® Remote Valve Control by QuickSilver

The new QS Sound Architect® remote valve control system gives you full command of the sound. Our push-button fob can be mounted within the vehicle or used outside the vehicle if desired.

Our Sound Architect system hands control of the valves back to the driver for the ultimate experience. When you select ‘Open’ they’ll stay open and when you select ‘Closed’ they’ll stay closed – this choice will be remembered even after the car’s been turned off and on. 

The electronic module included only requires a 12v feed, usually a cigarette-lighter socket. 

Its binary functionality offers two distinct sounds to suit your environment. Our default ‘Sport’ mode offers the full experience with a deeper robust note and utilises the optimum flow of the exiting exhaust gases. With our ‘Refined’ mode, our exhaust harnesses the tone, offering a more civilised note when, and if it’s required.

Even better is that like our exhausts, this is a simple install. Just feed the valve cables through the spare wheel well to the rear section, plug the power cable into the 12v in the boot, and you’re away!

This style of valve control’s been requested a lot in the past, and we’re excited to finally offer this – the perfect sound is now just a button press away.
