Aston Martin DB11 V12 'Race' Catalysts (2016 on)

A lighter weight component that has more efficient flow and shows a noticeable improvement in throttle response whilst enhancing that sports car sound.

Our 300 CPSI (cells per square inch) 'Race' catalysts replace the factory primary catalysts and remove the secondary catalysts providing a much more efficient flow for the exiting exhaust gases.

Our component also reduces weight, improves throttle response and offers a crisper and higher pitch tone throughout the rev range.

The pipes are ceramic coated which helps reduce temperatures in surrounding components.

Cerakote is the industry leader in thin film coatings, this ceramic based paint is able to withstand temperatures up 980°c. With its thermal resistance and durability it is suitable for a whole range of applications, and can be applied to almost any substrate.
We use this coating on some high performance systems for several reasons. Firstly it reduces engine bay temperatures and heat stress on surrounding components, decreasing the risk of failure. Secondly to aid the flow of exiting exhaust gases by keeping a more constant higher temp within the tubing as hotter gases move faster thus improving performance.

• The factory cores massively inhibit the vehicles sound, our 'Race' catalysts unleash the cars full soundtrack giving the driver the utmost audio driving experience.   

• Using road legal 300 cpsi cores in-place of 600 cpsi catalysts and removing the 300 cpsi secondary catalysts frees 600 cpsi per side. This allows the exiting exhaust gases to leave the vehicle more quickly which improves performance and sound.

• Our catalysts are smaller yet retain heat cladding throughout reducing temperatures for surrounding components.

• These 'Race' catalysts are less than half the weight of the stock ones, thus improving all-round performance.
