We have removed the central box and reduced the size of the rear muffler to improve flow, performance and sound. The rear box adds depth and balance to the tone.
The result is a truly wonderful pure MINI sound that rasps at higher revs and has a rich depth throughout the rev range. A sound we think more closely resembles the Sixties Coopers of times gone by like no other modern MINI.
