A SPECIAL EXHAUST

Usually when approached to design an exhaust system we only pursue models of some quantity which enables us to manufacture at a cost suitable to the consumer and have some longevity in a product.

However at QuickSilver we are huge Porsche fans, having owned and developed an impressive range for top models such as the 997 GT2 and 991 GT3 to name a few.

The GT1 is a Unicorn of the marque with legendary status so when the owner of this Wonderful GT1 asked us to forge a sport system be couldn't help but say yes.

We were supplied with the factory system to mimic and improve on. As systems go this is pure Nineties no frills motorsport! We didn't want to change the tone of the car's note so stuck to Porsche's playbook and looked into the simplest ways to improve on it.

We improved the material by using 304 aircraft grade Stainless Steel which is lighter, stronger and more durable.

We also reduced the perf inside the boxes to give the system some more punch which also slightly improves throttle response as flow is increased.

The end result was a happy owner and a GT1 thats enjoyed and driven how it was meant to be.
