Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS (992) now has the perfect Titan Sport exhaust sound
January 12, 2024
Our latest rendition of the Porsche 911 992, we also provide systems for all the Turbo and Carrera variants. Classed within our ‘Titan Sport’ range, we use a mix of materials, Titanium and Stainless steel for their physical qualities and audio benefits.
Using Titanium for our silencer casing offers a much more robust, harder sound, that lends itself to lower down notes and deeper tones. On the other hand, using Stainless steel on the mandrel bent tubing offers a crisper note, enhancing the higher end tones throughout the rev range.
Our Sound Architect™uses the same valve castings as Porsche on these 992s, which harnesses the cars own valve functionality, but with our smaller, more free-flowing system. The valves therefore are operated by the cars ECU, and open and shut arbitrarily and in conjunction with the driving mode. For example, ‘Sport’mode will see the valves in the open position more than ’Normal’mode.
Our smaller and lighter system offers a much needed and sought after sound and weight related performance benefits. Now offering the 992 an improved sporty note coupled with a driving experience that delights in every environment.
