Ferrari 365 GT4 BB 'QSP' ceramic coated heritage exhaust
December 18, 2020
On occasion we are asked to provide something a little bit more special than our already great exhaust systems! In such cases we turn to our QuickSilver Special Projects department or 'QSP' to be specific.
In this case the owner of this fabulous 365 Boxer wanted a system which used original materials and kept the OEM look from the underside of the car.
Picture of the original mild steel system.
Our heritage exhaust is based from our own original pattern and is hand machined from mild steel which can provide a slightly softer tone than our default Stainless Steel alternative.
Our satin black ceramic coating mimics the original powder coated finish on this particular 365 which offers some welcome anti corrosion qualities by protecting the bare metal from any foreign elements.
The coatings main attributes are improved flow for exiting gases as heat is retained better within the system and hotter gases are more transient. This also lowers engine bay temperatures outside the coating reducing any possible heat related complications.
Ribbed silencer casing a trademark QS look but also matches the factory exhaust.
Matching original bend lines and flanges to fit as best as possible.
Polished straight tail pipes finish the look perfectly.
We still supply our very popular polished 304 Stainless Steel System and /or manifolds however if the fore mentioned formula suits your needs or any other marque please contact us.
The Wraith was badly damaged in an accident and Matt's famed for comprehensive fixes with high performance cars on YouTube. This Mansory Wraith was no exception, so QuickSilver supplied him special exhaust system.
Its Big and now has the sound to match the looks. This all blacked out Land Rover Defender 130 Diesel gets equipped with the QuickSilver V8 sound track. Proving a popular upgrade for Defender enthusiasts and we can hear why.
