QuickSilver make an extra special Defender V8 exhaust for a returning customer

Lights, camera, ACTION! A phrase heard frequently on Hollywood film sets, but also at QS HQ when we’re putting one of our videos together!

It’s definitely something this particular customer has heard time and time again, while appearing in some of the most beloved films of the last 20 years.

Now we’re not in the habit of naming names, but you’ll see a few clues that will certainly give away who this is.

They’ve had a QS equipped V8 Defender supplied by our friends at Squire Editions for some time now, but they came back to us wanting more out of the exhaust.

 

Their requests were more texture to the sound, more variation between driving modes, and more volume in general.

Our Sound Architects sprang into action, and made our new style Defender exhaust, but with some slight changes to suit the customer’s wants and needs.

 

Starting off as a QuickSilver Special Projects commission, we’ve replaced the resonated front section with a new non-resonated x-pipe configuration that mixes each bank of gases, resulting in more volume, tone, and musculature.

However, we've now made this front section available to everyone as a SuperSport version of this exhaust.

 

Fully controlled through our new Sound Architect wireless key fob, this exhaust can go from gentleman to mean machine at the press of a button.

 

Finished off with a custom plaque, and our signature carbon tips, this is a proper beast!
