We take a beautifully QuickSilver-equipped Ford GT out to experience its enhanced sound. The GT features our Titan Sport rear section, which uses Inconel and maximizes sound quality by using a crossover pipe to improve tone across the entire rev range.
Next, we compare this with an immaculate 1984 Ford Escort RS 1600i, fitted with our Stainless Steel Heritage exhaust. This system is an exact replica of the original, but crafted from far more durable Type 304 metal.
The Ford Escort RS 1600i, introduced in 1982, is a legendary hot hatchback that embodies the spirit of 1980s rally-inspired performance. Powered by a 1.6-liter fuel-injected engine, it delivers a robust 115 horsepower, paired with a five-speed manual transmission.
The RS 1600i features distinctive styling elements such as aerodynamic spoilers, wide alloy wheels, and a sporty interior, setting it apart from its contemporaries.
Renowned for its agile handling and spirited driving dynamics, the Escort RS 1600i remains an iconic classic, several were owned by Princess Diana and are celebrated by car enthusiasts and collectors for its performance pedigree and historic rally heritage.
Both Fords were iconic in their respective eras and, despite their differences, look incredible side by side.
