The Ultimate Ferrari Dino 246 GT Titanium Exhaust System

January 13, 2023

Based upon our original Ferrari factory pattern for the Dino 246 GT and GTS Dino, we have by hand, skilfully reproduced a system entirely from Titanium.

The original systems were all made from mild steel, and if used on a daily basis, would often need replacing within a year!

QuickSilver was built upon this need to offer customers a longer-lasting solution. This came in the form of Stainless Steel, which can and does outlive the rest of the car, but it isn't perfect.

Fast forward to the 21st century and our Special Projects Division are able to provide Titanium as the ultimate solution. As a material, Titanium's almost unmatched in its strength and anti-corrosion properties, thus allowing a thinner gauge to be applied. This results in an almost feather-light construction in comparison to Steel.

Does it sound different though? No, but to the trained ear, the sound can seem warmer, and softer with a more rounded tone throughout the rev range. Similar perhaps to a high quality vintage vacuum tube radio - the song's the same, yet the sound quality has a more classic overall feel.

Truly a tone befitting this Ferrari's era-defining, yet timeless interior.

TIG welded for optimum precision, the ultralight construction also benefits many areas of the vehicle's performance and puts less stress on other components - it'll also never rust!

This now 'better than new' 246 Dino GT is a joy to behold and will be music to all ears for many more years to come.
