Rolls Royce Dawn is treated to a QuickSilver Special Project
March 12, 2021
One of One, this Rolls Royce Dawn had every box ticked when wheeled onto the display stand at the Geneva motor show before this model was launched.
This Dawn's defining feature has to be its removable Carbon Fibre Aero Cowling, an expensive rarely chosen option that transforms the top down look, loses the rear bench seat and in its place offers lockable storage compartments for that pure touring experience.
However... the car did not come with any notable sound, this feature can only be unlocked with our cleverly crafted QSP Ceramic Coated Sound Architect Active Valve Sport Exhaust.
Our QuickSilver Special Projects System offers a refined improvement to the overall sound, offering more tone and presence with the valves open yet with the valves shut returns to its more tranquil roots.
The twin turbo V12 engine is admittedly a difficult beast to draw out of its cave but our system does just that bringing out the best it has to offer but importantly never becoming overbearing or too intrusive.
Our pneumatic type valves used especially for this development require being 'plumbed' in by professional technicians and are operated via a supplied QuickSilver key fob. This allows the driver complete control over the level of sound appropriate to their environment and their motoring needs.
We keep in stock our raw Stainless Steel Sport Exhaust System which like the factory exhaust doesn't have valves and isn't Ceramic Coated but does give the Dawn, Wraith and Ghost more volume throughout the rev range and is a popular choice for the sports car enthusiast.
