How to make your new Land Rover Defender sound better
December 09, 2022
We now offer an array of Sound Architect™ Exhaust Systems for the new Defender of your choice. Whether that be the almost silent diesel D200, or the beastly V8, we have the ideal sound enhancement to suit your needs.
We've designed a rear sport section with a sound generator for the diesel Defender. This system integrates with the car's CAN Bus and produces a muscle-rich sound through the dual carbon fibre tailpipes. Alongside the existing exhaust gases, which work in relation to throttle position, this provides the usually silent diesel with a seamless undertone, resulting in more road presence to suit the look of your diesel Defender.
The sound generator can also be quickly and easily switched off and on at any time, using the car's Auto Stop/Start button. Our system doesn't affect emissions or your warranty, and the original rear section can be retrofitted if ever required.
For petrol and gasoline engined Defenders, we offer a full active valve sport exhaust system from the secondary catalysts back, to really harness their full potential. These systems differ slightly in the mid-sections, but all use the same stunning mirror finished transverse rear muffler, and our quad carbon fibre tail pipes to define your look.
All of these Sound Architect™ exhausts use dual active valves that are paired with and operated via your smart device.
This allows you, the driver, to have full control inside or outside the Defender for when and where you want to have a sport sound or more refinement to suit your environment.
Experience the ultimate driving pleasure with our state-of-the-art exhaust sound system designed specifically for the 2024 Range Rover 3.0 P440e, P460e, P510e, and P550e models.
