Jaguar F Pace SVR with Sports Exhaust with Sound Architect™
November 11, 2022
The Jaguar F Pace SVR is a rare sight on UK roads and we can't really explain why!? It shares the same engine as the ever popular Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SVRs and also the insanely quick F Type V8.
It is also stunning, with its menacing front facial expression and sleek curves epitomising everything Jaguar.
So given the chance to elaborate upon the vehicle's road presence, who better than us?
The V8 naturally lends itself to some wonderful tones throughout its rev range though as with most 21st century cars it is stifled by our legislation.
We however allow the big cat to breath by reducing and redesigning the rear silencers and removing a mid silencer. The gases now have two distinct paths to follow when they reach the rear sections which is dependant on the active valves.
The valves are controlled by the cars own ECU and intermittently open and shut dependant on engine temp, driving mode, throttle position and speed.
With the valves closed, the system retains a civilised sound, yet has an improved upon tone and some more volume. Then when the valves choose to open you will achieve a straight through passage which naturally improves throttle response and delivers a crescendo of V8 engine sounds that delights the ear drums at every acceleration, downshift and rev.
