How to make your Aston Martin V8 Vantage sound amazing
January 28, 2022
On a not so sunny Winter day in England with the Police hot on our tails we rolled through the English Countryside in a fully equipped Aston Martin V8 Vantage and showed the World what for in typical QuickSilver fashion.
At the front of this Vantage can be found our latest addition, Ceramic coated OPF delete pipes designed for all up to date Mercedes engined V8 Vantages which have gasoline particulate filters in place.
Our pipes quite simply give back to any car what 21st century legislation took away allowing a completely free flowing section down from the primary catalysts maximising performance and sound. In addition we ceramic coat these delete pipes in our 'Volcanic Black' coating to also further assist with flow and reduce temperature from the front of the car.
At the back of this Aston is our Active Valve Sport rear section using clever internal pipework and separate chambers to produce two distinct sound options dictated by dual action valves that can be easily controlled at a touch of a button from the drivers seat.
Our quad carbon fibre trims finish off the rear view of the car giving a unique, tasteful yet affirmative stance to the rear view of this already wonderful Aston Martin.
In all the transformation from the uninspiring factory sound is truly astonishing. We are able to unleash the full potential of this V8 engine by offering a truly race car loud sound in Sports and Track mode with all the pops and bangs on the overrun with sharpened crackles on the upshift. Yet when needed the system also allows for a fully civilised sound which is almost stealth like in refinement. All switchable just by using the cars own driving modes and built functionality on the steering wheel.
The Wraith was badly damaged in an accident and Matt's famed for comprehensive fixes with high performance cars on YouTube. This Mansory Wraith was no exception, so QuickSilver supplied him special exhaust system.
Its Big and now has the sound to match the looks. This all blacked out Land Rover Defender 130 Diesel gets equipped with the QuickSilver V8 sound track. Proving a popular upgrade for Defender enthusiasts and we can hear why.
